REGARDING WEATHER: We play as long as weather permits (drizzle we play - downpour we don't). If the fields are closed due to weather we cancel. The Central Park Softball field hotline is: 212-628-1036 (the yard at 79th street in Central Park); press 1 for touchtone use; press 2 for ball field conditions; press 806 for Great Lawn. That'll tell you if the fields are closed due to wet conditions.

The Great Lawn is the large green between 80th and 85th Streets and Field # 1 is the diamond closest to the Shakespeare Theater (southwest part of the big oval).
