The Milk Can Theatre Company presents... "RUNNING" a new play by Sharon E. Cooper directed by Pat Diamond

Three gay men, a widow, and a funeral. Running is a full-length drama/comedy that asks the question--can we escape our past? What happens when we have to confront the lies we tell? This is a play about coming out, not just about our sexuality, but about the fact that each of us must face the truth about ourselves. It's about living honestly and being straightforward.

Run Towards Your Life, Not Away From It.

Leadership Opportunity at a Growing Nonprofit

We are looking for an energetic, proactive individual to manage volunteer operations at Cents Ability, a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) organization. As Director of Operations, responsibilities would include overseeing the volunteer pool by assigning teaching opportunities to available volunteers, managing the website and coordinating volunteer communications. The Director of Operations will be integrally involved with the leadership team at Cents Ability and will participate in monthly Board meetings. While unpaid, this is a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills and impact a growing organization. Previous members of the Cents Ability team have matriculated at several top business schools, including Wharton, Columbia and Tuck.

The time commitment is approximately 5-10 hours per month. Cents Ability was founded in 2004 and is dedicated to providing high school students with the financial tools to achieve their life goals. Cents Ability has partnered with local and national organizations such as New York Cares and Wall Street Volunteers, as well as educational institutions such as Baruch College and Columbia University.

For more information on Cents Ability, please visit www.cents-ability.org. Interested applicants should send (1) a resume and (2) a brief statement explaining their interest to development@cents-ability.org. Opportunity shared by Jason Tabalujan (Class of 2003)
